PITTSBURGH – Pitt opens a two-game road swing at Clemson Tuesday, Feb. 27. Tipoff is set for 7:00 p.m. with Ariya Massoudi and Dan Bonner calling the action on the ACC Network.
THE OPENING TIP
- The Panthers enter Tuesday’s contest tied for fifth in the ACC with a 9-7 league record. Pitt has won eight of its past 10 ACC games with four road wins in that span.
- Tuesday’s contest is a key Quad 1 matchup for the Panthers with Clemson currently ranked 23rd in the NET. Pitt enters the contest 47th in the NET with a 3-5 record in Quad 1 games.
- Pitt leads the ACC in three-point field goals (9.52 3pg.) and have made 10 or more threes in a game 13 times, including seven times in ACC play. The Panthers have made 257 threes this season, fourth most in program history.
- Blake Hinson has scored 20 or more points in five of the past 10 games and is averaging 20.4 points per game, while shooting 50.4 percent (68-of-135) from the field and 47.6 percent (39-of-82) from three-point range in that span. - Ishmael Leggett has emerged as one of the top sixth men in the ACC averaging 13.2 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, while going 16-of-37 (.432) from three-point range, off the bench over the past 10 contests.
- Jaland Lowe has 11 double-figure scoring games and is averaging 12.0 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists per game in ACC play. He has scored 10+ points in 10 of the past 11 games.

- Blake Hinson is five three-pointers shy of becoming the second player in program history with 100 or more threes in a season. He ranks seventh in the NCAA with 95 three-point field goals through 27 games.
- Pitt’s guard trio of Carlton Carrington (12.7 ppg.), Ishmael Leggett (12.2 ppg.), and Jaland Lowe (8.9 ppg.) combines to average 33.8 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 9.3 assists per game. All three players are shooting over 80 percent from the foul line with the group combining to go 167-of-204 (.819) from the charity stripe.

BY THE NUMBERS - INDIVIDUAL
- Blake Hinson has scored in double figures in 24 games and topped the 20-point mark 12 times. He ranks among the ACC leaders in scoring (2nd - 18.9 ppg.), three-pointers (1st - 95), and three-point percentage (5th - .422). Hinson scored 27 points and went 6-of-10 from three-point range in the first meeting with Clemson this season.
- Jaland Lowe is averaging 13.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game, while going 19-of-46 (.413) from three-point range, since joining the starting lineup 12 games ago. He has scored in double figures 10 times in that stretch and played 30+ minutes in each of the past nine games.
- Carlton Carrington has scored in double figures 18 times with five or more assists on 12 occasions. He ranks second among ACC freshmen in rebounds (5.2 rpg.), and third in scoring (12.7 ppg.) and assists (4.2 apg.).
- Blake Hinson has made at least one three-pointer in 60 of 63 games as a Panther and is now 192-of-480 (.400) from three-point range in his career at Pitt. He is one of just 12 players in the ACC (since 1992-93) to make 90 or more threes in two or more seasons.
- Ishmael Leggett leads the Panthers in rebounding (5.3 rpg.) and steals (32), while ranking third in scoring (12.2 ppg.) and assists (57). He has scored in double figures 20 times including nine of the past 10 games.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham is 12-of-23 (.522) from three-point range in road games this season.
- Zack Austin had 14 rebounds and five blocks in Saturday’s win over Virginia Tech for just the fifth game by a Pitt player with 10+ rebounds and 5+ blocks since the 2010-11 season.
- Ishmael Leggett is 19-of-45 (.422) from three-point range in ACC play. He has made two or more threes six times in league play, including five of the past eight games.
- Blake Hinson is averaging a team-high 18.7 points per game, while shooting 41.5 percent (34-of-82) from three-point range, in nine road games this season.
