No. 21 Pitt Hosts No. 18 Lehigh Sunday

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt wrestling team, ranked No. 21 in the NWCA Coaches Poll this week, will host No. 18 Lehigh in a top 25 dual at the Fitzgerald Field House Sunday afternoon. The match is set to start at 2 p.m. with Greg Warnock and Katie Pearson calling the action on ACC Network Extra.

THE SERIES

The Panthers have won four of the last five meetings with the Mountain Hawks despite trailing the all-time series 45-21-2.
Last season, the Panthers defeated the then-ranked No. 17 Mountain Hawks by a 21-12 scoreline with seven individual bout wins.
Lehigh head coach and Pitt Athletics Hall of Famer Pat Santoro returns to his alma mater this weekend. Santoro is one of the Panthers' most accomplished individual athletes, regardless of sport. He finished his career (1986-89) as a four time All-American with two consecutive NCAA titles (1988, 1989).
