Osorio Mendoza, Bernard Both Named ACC Co-Divers of the Week

PITTSBURGH - Pitt's Mariana Osorio Mendoza and Noah Bernard were each named ACC Co-Divers of the Week.
For Osorio Mendoza and Bernard, it is the first ACC weekly award for each of their careers. It is the first time Pitt has garnered men's and women's ACC Diver of the Week honors in the same week since November of 2022 when Dylan Reed and Jess Vega were each honored .
Mariana Osorio Mendoza won both diving events at Penn State as the Pitt women dominated 248-105 this weekend. Osorio Mendoza took first in the 1m and 3m with scores of 279.08 and 311.40 respectively. She is recently coming off of an incredible performance at the South American Games where she took home two golds and a silver medal for Colombia.
In his collegiate debut this weekend, Noah Bernard swept both diving events in Pitt's meet at Penn State. Bernard took home first in the men's 1m with a 359.55 and first in the men's 3m with a 384.83. Bernard earned two podium finishes in the 1m and 3m at the Junior World Trials earlier this month.
