PITTSBURGH – Pitt wraps up a string of three consecutive road games in Coral Gables, Fla., Saturday, Jan. 27 against Miami. Tipoff is set for 2:15 p.m. with Tom Werme and Mike Gminski calling the action on The CW.
THE OPENING TIP
- Pitt has won three straight ACC road games for the second season in a row. The only other time the Panthers had won three consecutive ACC road games was the 2013-14 season.
- The Panthers are 4-1 in road games with wins at West Virginia, Louisville, No. 7 Duke, and Georgia Tech. Pitt is averaging 11.2 threes per game on the road with Guillermo Diaz Graham (.571), Blake Hinson (.500), Jaland Lowe (.438), and Carlton Carrington (.417) each shooting over 40 percent from three in those contests.
- Pitt and Miami are the top three-point shooting teams in the ACC with each program averaging 9.3 threes per game.
- Blake Hinson has scored in double figures in 16 games with eight 20+ point games. He ranks among the ACC leaders in scoring (6th - 17.9 ppg.), three-pointers (1st - 64), and three-point percentage (6th - .416).
- Jaland Lowe, the reigning ACC Rookie of the Week, is averaging 16.3 points and 4.0 assists per game, while going 5-of-12 (.417) from three-point range over the past three contests.
- Four-time ACC Rookie of the Week selection Carlton Carrington is the only freshman in the country averaging at least 13.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.0 assists per game.
PANTHER SPOTLIGHTS
- Jaland Lowe is averaging 10.8 points and 2.9 assists in 25.6 minutes per game in ACC play. He has scored in double figures in four of the past six league games.
- Blake Hinson is averaging 18.8 points and 5.6 rebounds per game, while going 21-of-42 (.500) from three-point range in five true road games.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham is averaging 10.0 points per game, while shooting 63.3 percent (19-of-30) from the field and 57.1 percent (8-of-14) from three-point range in five true road games.

BY THE NUMBERS - INDIVIDUAL
- Jaland Lowe is averaging 13.4 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 3.4 assists per game, while going 8-of-17 (.471) from three-point range, since joining the starting lineup five games ago.
- Carlton Carrington has scored in double figures 15 times with five or more assists on 10 occasions. He ranks second among ACC freshmen in scoring (13.5 ppg), rebounds (5.2 rpg.), and assists (4.4 apg.), and third in three-point field goals per game (1.84 3pg.).
- The post tandem of Guillermo Diaz Graham and Federiko Federiko combines to average 12.9 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 2.3 blocks per game. The duo is also shooting a combined 56.7 percent (93-of-164) from the field.
- Blake Hinson has made at least one three-pointer in 52 of 55 games as a Panther and is now 161-of-410 (.393) from three-point range in his career at Pitt. He ranks 13th at Pitt in career threes (161), just past the midway point of his second season with the Panthers.
- Ishmael Leggett leads the Panthers in rebounding (5.5 rpg.) and steals (21), while ranking third in scoring (11.7 ppg.) and assists (42). He has scored in double figures 13 times including each of the past two games after going through a stretch of five consecutive games under 10 points scored.
- Zack Austin is six made threes shy of becoming the 14th player in the NCAA since 1994-95 to register at least 1,000 points, 500 rebounds, 150 blocks, and 150 threes in a career.
- Pitt is the only team in the ACC with three players - Zack Austin, Federiko Federiko, and Guillermo Diaz Graham - ranked in the top 15 in the league in blocks. The trio has combined for 71 of Pitt’s 97 blocked shots on the season. Pitt leads the ACC with 5.11 blocks per game.
- Jaland Lowe has 17 assists with just three turnovers over in 118 minutes of action in Pitt’s five road games. He is averaging 10.6 points per game, while going 7-of-16 from three on the road.
- Blake Hinson averaged 22.5 points per game, while going 11-of-23 (.478) from three-point range, in two meetings against Miami last season. He had 24 points with six threes in the regular season finale at the Watsco Center a year ago.

- The Panthers have made 10 or more threes in a game nine times and share the ACC lead (with Miami) with 9.3 three-point field goals per game. Pitt is 18-of-39 (.462) from beyond the arc in its past two games, setting season lows for three-point attempts at Duke (20) and again at Georgia Tech (19).
- The Panthers are 11-0 on the season when posting a better field goal percentage than its opponent. Pitt is shooting 47.4 percent from the field, including 37.1 percent from three-point range in its wins, compared to 36 percent and 29 percent shooting splits from the field and three-point range in losses.
- Pitt is 11-2 on the season when winning the rebounding battle. The Panthers lead the ACC in offensive rebounds (12.74 orpg.) and defensive rebound percentage (.761), while also ranking second in rebounds (39.37 rpg.), rebound margin (+5.68), and offensive rebound percentage (.335).
