PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh fifth-year Dylan Reed has been named the ACC Men's Diver of the Week for the second consecutive week and fourth time overall this season, as announced by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
The McLean, Va. native swept the 1-meter and 3-meter events in his final home meet for the Panthers. Reed won the 1-meter with a new season-high score of 400.28 and the 3-meter with a score of 427.73. The Panthers picked up nine event wins and five second-place finishes but were edged by the score of 155-145 in the first-ever dual meet against Minnesota.
The four weekly conference honors are the most in a season by a Pitt diver since Dominic Giordano received the award five times in 2016-17. This is the sixth weekly conference honor in Reed's career and seventh weekly award for the Panthers this season.
