Austin, TX— The 2023 outdoor campaign came to a close on Wednesday, June 7th for the Pitt track and field team in Austin, TX at the Mike A. Myers Stadium. Finn Walsh earned Honorable Mention All-America honors in the men's 1500m to wrap up an outstanding outdoor season.
Appearing in his first national championship meet in his Pitt career, Sophomore Finn Walsh notched 19th place in the men's 1500mn semifinal with a time of 3:43.45.
The 2023 NCAA Outdoor Championships marked the final meet of the 2022-23 campaign for the Pitt track and field team as they wrapped up the outdoor campaign by recording two school records and setting numerous top-10 all-time marks and times.
