Walsh Set To Make NCAA Outdoor Championships Debut Wednesday

PITTSBURGH— After qualifying for the NCAA Outdoor Championships for the first time in his career, Sophomore Finn Walsh will start competition on Wednesday, June 7 at 6:46 p.m. The meet will run from Wednesday, June 7- Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
The four-day meet is hosted by the University of Texas at Austin at Mike A. Myers Stadium. Live results will be provided by Flash Results and live TV coverage of the entire championship will be hosted by the ESPN family of networks.
Walsh will be making his first career appearance at the national meet as he recorded a third-place finish with a time of 3:49.34 in the men's 1500m. He currently sits at second-best in program history with a time of 3:42.56 set at the 2023 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships on May 11-13. His time is marked 103rd in the nation.

WHAT'S ON THE LINE
To earn All-America status, athletes that place 1st through 8th will earn First Team All-America honors while athletes who finish 9th through 16th take home Second Team All-America accolades. Finishing from 17th to 24th place will earn you an honorable mention All-America.
