NBC Father’s Day Segment Featuring Head Coach Alonzo Webb & Associate Head Coach Alonzo Webb III

PITTSBURGH— Head coach Alonzo Webb and associate head coach Alonzo Webb III will be featured in a Father's Day segment with NBC set to air on Wednesday, June 14 at 9:00 a.m. on the Today Show.
Alonzo Webb has served as track & field and cross country head coach at the University of Pittsburgh since 2002. Alonzo Webb III joined the Pitt track and field coaching staff as a volunteer assistant coach in 2010 before his promotion to associate head coach and recruiting coordinator in 2022.
"We were honored when the producers from the NBC Today Show showed interest in Coach Zo and I being part of their Father's Day segment this year. The entire NBC staff and crew were first class and made us feel welcome," stated head coach Alonzo Webb. The Today Show host Craig Melvin was the consummate professional and made us feel at ease during our interview. We don't take for granted that this would not have been possible if weren't blessed with the opportunity to coach together at Pitt."
