Steigenga Earns ACC Women’s Co-Field Performer of the Week

PITTSBURGH— The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Tuesday (May 2) that Junior jumper Ilse Steigenga of the Pitt track and field team has been named Women's Co-Field Performer of the Week following her performance at Penn Relays in the women's long jump.
On Saturday, Steigenga jumped to a personal-best mark of 6.47m (21'2.75"). The Panther ranks 11th in the nation and moved up into a tie with Najuma Fletcher ('94) for second all-time at Pitt.

The Panthers will return to Raleigh, N.C. for the Atlantic Coast Conference Championships on May 11-13.
