PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh track & field team is set to continue the outdoor season this weekend with the UVA Challenge hosted by the University of Virginia at Lannigan Field on Thursday (April 20) through Saturday (April 22).

The meet will begin Thursday with the hammer throw and the first day of the combined events.The meet will be live streamed on ACC Network Extra for a two-hour window on Friday (April 21) from 7-9 p.m. Links to the ACCNX live stream. ACC Network Extra is available through the ESPN app and at WatchESPN.com for customers who have the ACC Network as a part of their television subscription.

Last Time Out:

Junior Otoniel Badjana took home first place with a PR in the men's shot put with a mark of 17.57m. He is currently second-best in program history. In addition, Badjana earned first place with a PR in the men's discus with a mark of 53.31m. He is currently third-best in program history.
In the women's 100m hurdles, Folake Olujide-Ajibade recorded a first-place finish with a time of 13.84 to earn the seventh-best time in program history.
Claire Hoffman notched a first-place finish in the women's 800m with a time of 2:10.58. Hoffman holds the tenth-best time in program history
In the women's hammer throw Niya Crawford recorded a second-place finish to secure a PR and the ninth-best mark in program history.
Sadie Carey-Tharp finished fourth place with a time of 10:31.64 in the women's 3000m steeplechase. She remains fourth best in program history. Gianna Caglioa recorded a time of 11:11.98 to secure 19th place. Caglioa collected the tenth best time in program history.
