Durham, N.C.—The University of Pittsburgh track and field program concluded their time in Durham, North Carolina at the Duke Invitational, Saturday evening.

In the Women's hammer throw, Foluke Olujide-Ajibade earned 12^th place with a mark of 55.62m (182-6) for the Panthers.
Junior Danial Amaya took part in the men's hammer throw, recording a throw of 61.83m (202-10) to finish in sixth place. Amaya is currently ninth best in the ACC this season and 2nd in program history.
On the track, Nikki Scherer notched fifth place after clocking 24.35, and Caleia Johnson placed 11^th place with a time of 24.88. On the men's side, Freshman Devin Nugent recorded sixth place with a time of 22.18.
In the women's 1500m, Sophomore Emily Brown secured sixth place with a time of 4:33.31. On the men's side, Sophomore Finn Walsh collected second place with a time of 3:49.16.
Sadie Carey-Tharp posted a sixth-place finish in the women's steeplechase with a time of 10:38.51. Carey-Tharp is currently third-best in program history and fourth in Pitt history.
Sophomore Winnie Incorvaia took home ninth place with a time of 16:36.82 in the women's 5000m. She currently sits at seventh best in program history. On the men's side, Luke Henseler came in seventh place with a time of 14:09.03 and Luke Miller placed eighth with a time of 14:09.40.
In the men's 800m invite, Jack Balick ran a time of 1:51.17 to finish third.
