Panthers Kick Off Their Oudoor Campaign in Orlando This Friday

PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh track and field is set to compete in the Black and Gold Invitational hosted by the University of Central Florida at the UCF Track Complex, March 17-18.

The two-day meet will commence on Friday morning with the field events. The women's discus will begin around 11 a.m. followed by pole vault, long jump, javelin, and shot put. Running events will begin around 6 p.m. with the 400-meter hurdles.

On Saturday, the meet will recommence at 10 a.m. with the women's hammer throw. The women's 4x100 relay opens action on the track at 12 p.m.

Spectators will be able to attend the Black and Gold Invitational but must remain in the stands and will not be allowed on the track level.
