PITTSBURGH – Pitt returns to the Petersen Events Center to host Canisius Saturday, Dec. 9. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. with Jay Alter and Debbie Antonelli calling the action on the ACC Network.
THE OPENING TIP
- The Panthers are 295-88 (.770) all-time at the Petersen Events Center, including a 172-18 (.905) mark in non-conference play. Pitt’s 295 home wins since the start of the 2002-03 season ranks as the eighth most in the NCAA in that span.

PANTHER SPOTLIGHTS
- Blake Hinson has made at least one three-pointer in 22 consecutive games and in 43 of 45 games as a Panther. He is 136-of-342 (.398) from three-point range at Pitt.
- Carlton Carrington has recorded the most assists by a Pitt freshman in the first nine games of a season. He has recorded six or more assists in five of Pitt’s nine games.
- Ishmael Leggett has made 28 consecutive free throw attempts and now ranks second in the ACC in free throw percentage (.923 - 36-of-39) on the season.

- Blake Hinson is averaging 26.0 points per game, while going 20-of-34 (.588) from long range over the past three games. His 20 three-pointers in that span are the most in a three-game stretch in program history. Hinson made a program record nine threes in Wednesday’s win over West Virginia.
- Carlton Carrington leads the ACC in assists (6.2 apg.) while also ranking among the league leaders in scoring (20th - 14.8 ppg.), three-point field goals (10th - 2.33 3PG), and assist-to-turnover ratio (3rd - 3.29:1). He has scored in double figures eight times with five or more assists on six occasions.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham has scored in double figures three times and is averaging 7.4 points and 4.1 rebounds per game off the Panthers’ bench. He had 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the field with a career-best three threes in the win over West Virginia.
- Blake Hinson has made three or more three-pointers in each of the past eight games, including five or more made threes in three consecutive contests.
- Federiko Federiko has grabbed four or more offensive rebounds in five games and ranks second in the ACC in offensive rebounding (3.11 orpg.). He has also blocked two or more shots in six games and ranks sixth in the ACC in blocks (2.0 bpg.).
- Blake Hinson has started 44 of 45 games at Pitt and scored in double-figures 39 times as a Panther, including all nine games this season. He has topped the 20-point mark in five times this season and 14 times in his Pitt career.
