PITTSBURGH – Pitt hosts South Carolina State at the Petersen Events Center Saturday, Dec. 16. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m. with James Westling and David Padgett calling the action on the ACC Network.

- Carlton Carrington has recorded the most assists by a Pitt freshman in the first 10 games of a season. He leads the ACC in assists (6.1 apg.) and has recorded six or more assists six times.
- Guillermo Diaz Graham is averaging 11.0 points per game, while going 9-of-11 (.818) from the field (4-of-5, .800 from three-point range) over the past two games.

BY THE NUMBERS - INDIVIDUAL
- Blake Hinson was named ACC Player of the Week for the second time in his career after averaging 27.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 56.3 percent (18-of-32) from the field, 63.2 percent (12-of-19) from three-point range, and 100 percent (7-of-7) from the foul line in wins over West Virginia and Canisius.
- Carlton Carrington was named ACC Rookie of the Week for the third time this season after averaging 16.0 points, 4.0 rebounds, 7.0 assists, and 1.0 steals per game as Pitt posted double-digit wins at West Virginia and against Canisius. He is the first Pitt freshman to garner Rookie of the Week accolades three times in a season since DeJuan Blair (2007-08 - Big East).
- Blake Hinson is averaging 26.0 points and 5.8 rebounds per game, while going 23-of-37 (.622) from long range over the past four games. He is looking to become the first Panther player since 2016-17 to record five consecutive 20+ point games. Hinson’s 1.42 points per possession ranks second in the NCAA in Synergy’s scoring efficiency metrics over the past two weeks.
- Carlton Carrington leads the ACC in assists (6.1 apg.) while also ranking among the league leaders in scoring (21st - 14.9 ppg.), three-point field goals (10th - 2.30 3PG), and assist-to-turnover ratio (3rd - 3.21:1). He has scored in double figures nine times with five or more assists on seven occasions.
- Blake Hinson has made three or more three-pointers in each of the past nine games. He has made at least one three-pointer in 23 consecutive games and in 44 of 46 games as a Panther. Hinson is 139-of-346 (.402) from three-point range at Pitt.
- Federiko Federiko has grabbed four or more offensive rebounds in five games and ranks third in the ACC in offensive rebounding (2.9 orpg.). He has also blocked two or more shots in six games and ranks seventh in the ACC in blocks (1.8 bpg.).
