PITTSBURGH – First-year head coach Tory Verdi has announced the signing of two student-athletes to National Letters of Intent during the Fall Signing period on Wednesday afternoon. The two additions to the 2024-25 roster are Audrey Biggs and Kiara Williams.
"I'm very excited to announce the signing of our two commitments for the 2024-25 season," stated head coach Tory Verdi. "This is just the start of something special as we will continue to recruit and sign some of the best players in the country here at Pitt."

Biggs, a Catlettsburg, KY native, is entering her senior season at Boyd County high school where she is a two-sport standout (basketball, volleyball). The prolific scorer surpassed the 1,000-point plateau during her sophomore campaign.
After suffering a torn ACL during the 2022 summer, Biggs returned midway through her junior campaign last season and averaged 12.0 points and 4.9 rebounds across 13 games for Boyd County. She helped lead the squad to the Region 16 championship game and earned a roster spot in the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star girls basketball game following the season.
