
Pitt Men Earn First CSCAA Poll Ranking Since 2021

Panthers Ranked No. 21 in November Rankings
PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh men's swimming and diving program are ranked No. 21 in the November edition of the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) poll. The Panthers are one of eight teams in the ACC to earn a spot in the national rankings this month.
The No. 21 spot marks the highest ranking for the Panthers since being ranked No. 16 in 2004, and the first time the Panthers have been included in the national poll since the 2020-21 season.
Pitt has posted a 2-3 overall record in dual meets this season, with its three loses coming against No. 4 California, No. 8 Stanford, and No. 17 Notre Dame. The Panthers were dominant in a double dual meet with No. 17 Notre Dame and Penn State, taking the Fighting Irish down to the final relay of the meet. The Panthers were edged by the Fighting Irish by the score of 177.7-175.5 and dominated the Nittany Lions 256-97.
