Panthers to Play in Inaugural Las Vegas College Baseball Classic

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt baseball team will compete in the inaugural Las Vegas College Baseball Classic at the beginning of March, Peak Events, LLC and the Las Vegas Aviators announced Friday afternoon. The Panthers will be joined in Las Vegas by the Cal Golden Bears, Ohio State Buckeyes and Oklahoma Sooners.
The 2024 Classic will be the first of what is set to be an annual event at Las Vegas Ballpark, home of the Oakland A's' Triple A affiliate. The weekend tournament will have two games per day with each team playing the other, three times in a round robin format. Tickets are available on a "day" basis including both games played on the same day or as a weekend package in select seating sections which would include all 6 games played through the weekend. There are both reserved and general admission options available and tickets are available now at LasVegasCBC.com/tickets.
