PITTSBURGH – Behind a pair of second half goals, the Pitt men's soccer team (6-4-3, 2-2-2 ACC) continued their domination of crosstown rival Duquesne as they secured the 2-0 victory at Ambrose Urbanic Field Tuesday night. With the win, Pitt is now 11-0-2 all-time against the Dukes including winning six straight in the series.

HOW IT HAPPENED – FIRST HALF
- Cabral Carter opened the match with a nice stop off of a corner kick in the seventh minute to keep the game scoreless early on
- Fabian Grau had a great header chance off of a Filip Mirkovic corner kick in the 13th minute but his effort just went over the cross bar and out of play
- Eben McIntyre had a pair of shots in the 16th and 20th minutes but both of his attempts were stopped by the Dukes keeper
- The final chance of the half for the Dukes came in the 34th minute as Ask Ekeland had a shot that just missed the goal
HOW IT HAPPENED – SECOND HALF
- In the 49th minute, the Dukes had a good chance but Ashton Jell saw his shot attempt saved by Carter to keep the match scoreless
- The Panthers broke through with the first goal of the match in the 66th minute as Guilherme Feitosa found the loose ball in the box after a corner kick from Mirkovic and a header from Grau and deposited it into the back of the net. The goal was his second of the season
- In the 83rd minute, Feitosa got free again and ripped a shot towards goal but the Duquesne keeper made a nice save
- Raphael Cilli sealed the game for the Panthers in the 88th minute as Luka Kozomara sent a ball to Michael Sullivan who fed Cilli and he buried the ball into the right corner of the Duquesne goal to make it 2-0 in favor of Pitt

- For the match, Pitt held the 9-6 edge in shots and the 4-3 advantage in corner kicks
- Feitosa led all players with three shots while McIntyre and Cilli each added two in the win for Pitt
- Duquesne was whistled for 11 fouls while the Panthers committed just two fouls in the win
