PITTSBURGH- The University of Pittsburgh track and field squads will head to University Park, PA for the Nittany Lion Challenge on Saturday, Jan. 15 at Penn State's Multi-Sport Facility & Horace Ashenfelter III Indoor Track. Events are set to begin at 11 a.m.

- Lydia Bottelier, Eva Baldursdottir, and Alesia Rengle hit the ACC standard in the high jump. Bottelier jumped 5'10.50" (1.79m) while Baldursdottir and Rengle jumped 5'7.00" (1.70m).
- Mackenzie Sullivan dominated the women's 800m run by securing the win with a time of 2:18.13.
- Foluke Olujide-Ajibade earned first place in the weight throw with a toss that traveled 56'10.0" (17.32m) while Niya Crawford finished in eighth place with a throw of 49'6.25" (15.80m).
- Ilse Steigenga jumped 21'6.00" (6.55m) in the long jump which moved her into second place on the Panthers all-time list in the event.
- In the men's 60m dash, Stephon Brown secured first place for the Panthers, Nigel Hussey secured fifth, and Darren McQueen Jr. notched sixth place. Brown's time of 6.73 seconds marks the second best time in program history in the event while Hussey is now eighth all-time (6.87 seconds) and McQueen Jr. is ninth all-time (6.88 seconds).
- Devin Nugent took home first place and Jack Balick placed second in the men's 800m race.
- Otoniel Badjana notched a ninth place finish (14.81m) in the weight throw and fourth place finish in the shot put with a throw that traveled 51'7.00" (15.72m).
- In the men's triple jump, Clement Campbell finished in second place with a leap that cleared 49'6.50" (15.40m) and Uri Arnon secured third place with a leap of 48'6.5" (15.10m).
- The Panthers will have a week off before returning to the track on Jan. 27-28 to compete at the Lenny Lyles Invitational in Louisville, KY.
