PITTSBURGH – The Panthers are back at Highmark Stadium Tuesday, April 19 for their last regular season game of the season, a matchup with George Mason. The battle with the Patriots is scheduled for a 5 p.m. first draw and will be streamed via ACC Network Extra.
Pitt played its last two games on the road, a 15-7 loss to Penn State and 19-7 loss to Notre Dame. They sit at 7-9 on the season and 1-7 in ACC play.
Paige Petty has continued to pace the Panthers offense, leading the team in points (48) and goals (39). Petty passed Head Coach Emily Boissonneault on the career goals list last time out. She has scored 243 times, good enough for a tie for 28th place all-time, while Boissonneault sits at 30th with 242.
The Panthers look to finish the regular season on a high note before playing in the ACC Tournament, which will take place back at Arlotta Stadium on the campus of Notre Dame.
George Mason is 3-12 overall and 2-6 in the Atlantic 10. Mason has played two opponents that the Panthers faced earlier in the year, St. Bonaventure (W, 15-7) and Duquesne (L, 13-18) and lost to La Salle in their most recent game.
As it has been all season, admission is free to Pitt Lacrosse at Highmark Stadium.
