PITTSBURGH – Pitt Lacrosse hits the road again for their next game Thursday, March 10 as the Panthers face the #7 Duke Blue Devils. The opening draw in Durham, North Carolina at Koskinen Stadium is set for 6 p.m. and will air on ACC Network.
The Panthers are led by four-time All-America selection Paige Petty, who has 22 points (18 goals, 4 assists) and a team-leading 32 draw controls. Sophomore Kate Elam with 14 (11 goals, 3 assists), graduate transfer Madisyn Kittell with 13 (8 goals, 5 assists), and senior Kierin Ratliff-Kailbourne with 11 (6 goals, 5 assists) has also surpassed the 10-point mark for Pitt.

Pitt dipped to 3-3 overall and 0-2 in the ACC with a 12-11 loss to Virginia Tech in a double-overtime thriller last Saturday. Petty scored five goals against her former team and DiFatta stopped eight shots, but the Panthers missed out on their chances late in the fourth and during both overtime periods.
Duke has started the season 6-1, with their only loss coming at the hands of No. 3 Syracuse on the road. The Blue Devils are led on offense by Catriona Barry (34 goals, 15 assists) and Katie DeSimone (26 goals, 13 assists), while starting goalie Sophia LeRose is allowing 9.54 goals per game.
Pitt will be back in action quickly after tomorrow's game, as they host Binghamton Sunday at 1 p.m. at Highmark Stadium.
