PITTSBURGH – Pitt baseball announced Monday its promotional schedule at Charles L. Cost Field for the 2022 season, highlighted by Bark at the Park, the 1995 Big East Championship Reunion, an Easter Egg Hunt, Star Wars Day and Dollar Dog Wednesdays.
Pitt opens at home Tuesday, March 14 versus Bucknell at 3 p.m. and play at home the very next day against Youngstown State also at 3 p.m. The Panthers open up ACC play at Cost Field the following weekend against No. 18 Clemson.
The Panthers play 20 games at home this year, including five ACC series against teams all ranked or receiving votes, and also a game each against local rivals West Virginia (Tuesday, April 19) and Penn State (Tuesday, May 17) at PNC Park.
Season ticks, sold in a flex package that can be used in any combination at home games, are available for purchase at $69. Already receiving savings over single game ticket purchases, season ticket holders receive a Pitt baseball pennant at the home-opener.
Pitt will have running season-long promotions. Every Wednesday home game fans can enjoy $1 hot dogs at the concessions stand. Every Sunday home game Little Leaguers get $1 admission, as well as a concessions deal. Sunday, March 27th, kids in Little League attire will be eligible for a $1 ticket and $1 drink!
