
Panthers Primed for NCAA Zone A Championships

PITTSBURGH —The University of Pittsburgh men's and women's diving teams are primed to compete in the NCAA Zone A Championships this week at the U.S. Naval Academy's Lejeune Hall in Annapolis, Md. beginning Monday, March 7 through Wednesday, March 9. Live results will be available on DiveMeets.

Both diving squads last competed at the ACC Championships in Atlanta Feb. 15-19. Reed earned a bronze medal in the men's 1-meter with a career-high 367.80, while also earning points for the men on 3-meter (11th, 309.25) and platform (15th, 280.90). Cash made two finals appearances in the men's platform (6th, 360.40) and 1-meter (8th, 314.65), garnering additional points on 3-meter (14th, 297.25) as well. For the women, Read placed fourth in the platform finals, with a score of 278.30.
