
Panthers Complete Competition at Men’s NCAA Championships

ATLANTA, Ga. — Swimmer Cooper Van der Laan and divers Cameron Cash and Dylan Reed represented the University of Pittsburgh in the 2022 Men's Swimming and Diving Championships this weekend at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta Ga.
Van der Laan finished 20th overall in the 200 Breast, swimming a season-best 1:53.04. The Gold Coast, Australia native placed 23rd in the 100 Breast, touching the wall at 52.14.
Cash and Reed competed on all three boards this week and are two of only four divers in Pitt history to achieve the feat.
Kicking off the week in the 1-meter trials, Reed finished 37th (287.65), followed by Cash in 43rd (258.00). In the 3-meter competition, Cash placed 30th (330.70), while Reed finished 40th (311.25). The duo finished the week strong on platform with their best performances of the week, as Cash placed 26th (300.95), followed by Reed in 28th (297.45).
