PITTSBURGH — Swimmer Cooper Van der Laan and divers Cameron Cash and Dylan Reed will represent the University of Pittsburgh this week at the NCAA Men's Swimming and Diving Championships March 23-26 at the McAuley Aquatic Center in Atlanta, Ga. All sessions will be available for streaming on ESPN3, and live results can be found on the MeetMobile app and DiveMeets.
This week will be Van der Laan's second NCAA Championships of his career, earning the All-American distinction in 2021 in the 100 Breast. The Gold Coast, Australia native will compete in both the 100 Breast and 200 Breast and is the only men's swimmer competing for the Panthers this week.
Cash and Reed will compete on all three boards (1-meter, 3-meter, platform) this week. The duo is two of only four Pitt divers to have qualified for NCAA Championships, including senior Amy Read who competed her NCAA slate last week. Between Reed and Cash, their six event spots combine to be the most in school history on the men's side, beating the previous record set last season (2021) with four.
