Panthers to Open Wrestling Season at Clarion Open

PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh wrestling program officially opens its 2022-23 season this weekend with Sunday's Clarion Open, which begins on Nov. 6 at 9 a.m. from Tippin Gym.
Competing for Coach Keith Gavin, the Panthers will take a projected roster mixed with several veterans as well as numerous newcomers for the season-starting open tournament.
Here is a list of Pitt wrestling student-athletes expected to compete at Clarion this Sunday:

The Panthers will host their home opener at Fitzgerald Field House against Maryland on Friday, Nov. 18 with a 7 p.m. start before welcoming in-state rival Lehigh to Pittsburgh on Saturday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m.
Fans can purchase season tickets for Pitt's 2022-23 wrestling home schedule, which also features exciting matchups with West Virginia, Iowa State, North Carolina, Duke and Buffalo at this link.
