Pitt Track & Field Kicks Off Indoor Campaign At Youngstown State Icebreaker Friday

PITTSBURGH- The University of Pittsburgh track and field team will kick off their 2022-23 indoor season Friday, Dec. 2 in Youngstown, OH as they are set to compete in the YSU Icebreaker. The meet will be held at the Watson and Tressel Training Site (WATTS) on the Youngstown State campus. Events are set to begin at 1 p.m.

PANTHERS COMPETING:
Women- Eva Baldursdottir (high jump), Lydia Bottelier (60m HH, high jump, 4x400m), Jana Bruses (200m, 60m HH, 4x400m), Imani Clark (60m, 4x400m), Niya Crawford (shot put, weight throw), Alma Evuna Eki (200m, 60m), Kathryn Hart (pole vault), Caleia Johnson (60m, 200m, 4x400m), Noelle Loya (pole vault), Sydney McCallum (60m, 200m), Taylor Newton (high jump, 4x400m), Folake Olujide-Ajibade (200m, 60m HH), Foluke Olujide-Ajibade (weight throw, 4x400m), Jazmyn Potts (200m, 4x400m, 60m HH), Alesia Rengle (high jump), Nikki Scherer (4x400m), Ilse Steigenga (60m HH, long jump, 4x400m), Mackenzie Sullivan (800m, 4x400m), Anais Williams (60m HH, triple jump), Allison Zolkiewicz (800m).

Men- Uri Arnon (triple jump), Otoniel Badjana (shot put, weight throw), Jack Balick (800m), Stephon Brown (60m, 300m, 4x400m), Clement Campbell (60m, triple jump), Nigel Hussey (60m, 4x400m), Darren McQueen (60m, 4x400m), Devin Nugent (800m, 4x400m), Felix Wolter (long jump, shot put).

Allegheny, Ashland, California (Pa.), Carlow, Carnegie Mellon, Central State, Charleston (W. Va.), Chatham, Clarion, Cleveland State, Duquesne, Frostburg State, Geneva, Grove City, Heidelberg, Indiana (Pa.), John Carroll, Lake Erie, Ohio Christian, Pitt-Johnstown, Point Park, Robert Morris, Shawnee State, Slippery Rock, Thiel, Walsh, Washington & Jefferson, West Liberty, Westminster, Wheeling, and YSU.

SPECTATOR INFORMATION: Admission - $10. Parking is available in the 81 Lot or other YSU lots for $5.

NEXT UP
The Panthers will have over a month off as they will return to the track for their second meet of the indoor campaign Saturday, Jan. 14 as they compete in the Lenny Lyles Invitational hosted by the University of Louisville.
