Panthers Complete Fall Season

PITTSBURGH – The Pitt Softball team wrapped up its fall season against Kent State, Sunday afternoon at Vartabedian Field.
The Panthers defeated the Golden Flashes in game one, 8-6, and ended the second game in a 6-6 tie.
Graduate student Yvonne Whaley led the Panthers on the day, combining for four hits and driving in three runs. Senior Bailey Drapola and junior Cami Compson each hit a two-run homer during the third inning of the second game.
The Panthers fall season prior to today included games against Davis & Elkins, Saint Francis, and Glenville State.
Pitt's regular season schedule will be announced later this winter.
