Women’s Hoops Announces 2022-23 Home Promotional Schedule

PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women's basketball program announced its promotional schedule for the 2022-23 home slate inside the Petersen Events Center Wednesday morning.
The promotional schedule is highlighted by some familiar and popular events as the Panthers will host their School Day game Wednesday, Nov. 16 vs. Bryant at 11:00 am. Some other familiar promotional games will be the 2nd Annual ASL Deaf Awareness Night on Sunday, Dec. 11 vs. Ball State at 12:00 pm as well as the 16th Annual Pink The Petersen game on Sunday, Feb. 5 vs. Virginia at 2:00 pm.
Some other fun promotions for the 2022-23 campaign are High School Night (Nov. 19), Roc The Royal (Dec. 18), Christmas with Roc (Dec. 21), Girl Scout Day (Jan. 15), Hoops For Troops Night (Jan. 19), Oakland Zoo Night (Jan. 26) and Hail To Her Night (Feb. 19).
There will be two season-long promotions for women's basketball games this season, Sunday FunDays and Chalk Talks. Sunday FunDays will give fans an opportunity for a meet and greet with the Pitt women's basketball team following all Sunday games. Players will be available at the conclusion of the game for autographs and photos. Chalk Talks make a return as fans will have the chance to attend a pregame "Chalk Talk" with a Pitt women's basketball coach breaking down the upcoming opponent. Chalk Talk dates are Nov. 12, Dec. 11, Dec. 18, Jan. 26, Feb. 5 and Feb. 19.
Season tickets are now on sale for the 2022-23 season. Single game tickets will go on sale starting Thursday, Oct. 27. Fans may purchase tickets online by visiting PittsburghPanthers.com or by calling the Panthers Ticket Office at 1-800-643-7488.

- ROC'S BIRTHDAY: Join us for Roc's birthday celebrations!
- CITY GAME | HIGH SCHOOL NIGHT: All local high schools in the Pittsburgh area are invited to come out and spend their Saturday evening with the Panthers as they take on local cross-town rival Dukes.
- FACULTY & STAFF DAY: All faculty and staff members will be treated to a pregame treat in the new Campus View Club.
- FAN APPRECIATION NIGHT: All Pitt Women's Basketball fans in attendance will have a chance to win a fan pack prize at the marketing table.
- ASL DEAF AWARENESS GAME: Special American Sign Language Pitt basketball shirts will be given out to fans in attendance while supplies last.
- CHALK TALK: 45 minutes prior to tip, a member of the Pitt coaching staff will give those in attendance a breakdown of Louisville. Chalk Talks will take place in the Campus View Club.

- ROC THE ROYAL: Fans in attendance are encouraged to Roc the Royal in the Pete.

- 16th ANNUAL PINK THE PETE: Annual pink game for the Panthers for breast cancer awareness, along with breast cancer survivor recognitions.
