
Moreno Joins Softball Staff as Director of Operations

PITTSBURGH – Head Coach Jodi Hermanek and the Pittsburgh softball team announced the addition of Hope Moreno as Director of Operations today.
"I am excited to welcome Hope as a member of our Panther family," said Hermanek. "Her experience and love for the game, now matched with her administrative experience and vision, will be invaluable to our student-athletes and staff."
Moreno comes from Creighton, where she was a graduate assistant coach from 2019-2021. She coordinated team travel logistics, was responsible for managing game day activities and clinics and helped deliver social media content.
Moreno played four years of college softball, most recently at Creighton for her senior season. There, she started in 42 of 43 games, batting .314 with 37 hits, 26 RBI, 15 runs, 16 walks and totaled a .424 on-base percentage. Prior to Creighton, she played three seasons for the University of Texas at El Paso, recording a career .283 batting average with 81 hits, 32 RBI, 32 runs and a .422 slugging percentage while playing the infield.
Moreno graduated from Creighton in 2018 with a B.S. in Business Administration, cum laude, Marketing and earned a Master of Business Administration, Marketing degree in 2021.
