Pitt Baseball To Host Walk-On Tryouts Sept. 22

PITTSBURGH — The University of Pittsburgh baseball team will host walk-on tryouts at Charles Cost Field Wednesday, Sept. 22 starting 5 p.m. Pitt students interested in trying out must sign up and complete the necessary clearance and physical forms prior to Sept. 17.
Sign up and forms are available electronically. In order to receive those forms you must email Director of Player Development Drew Linder via email at dlinder@athletics.pitt.edu. (Please include your name and Pitt Email in the initial correspondence).
Pitt posted its most successful season in 2021 since joining the ACC. The Panthers were ranked nationally for nine consecutive weeks, including its highest ranking at No. 14 by Baseball America. Pitt racked up six ACC series wins, a program record, including sweeps of Miami and Florida State.
