Pitt Gymnastics Announces 2021 Summer Camps

Panthers to Host Five Two-Day Camps at Trees Hall
PITTSBURGH – The Pitt gymnastics program will host five two-day camps between the months of June and August 2021, head coach Samantha Snider announced Thursday.
DATES
Two-day camps will be held on the following dates:
Camp participants will be instructed on all four events as well as dance and trampoline. Open gym and recreational activities will balance out the camp experience.
PARTICIPANTS
Camps are open to all female gymnasts ages 7 and older, from beginner to elite. Previous experience is recommended but not required.
COST
Each camp requires a $250 registration fee.
WHAT TO BRING
Camp participants should bring T-shirts, shorts, leotards, comfortable shoes and any personal gym equipment (grips, wrist guards, and tape). Campers should bring their own lunch.
LOCATION AND FACILITIES
Gymnasts will train in Trees Hall, home to the Pitt gymnastics team. The training center is a 12,000-square foot facility that houses state-of-the-art equipment including:

- 2 Vaulting stations into foam pit
- 3 full sets of Uneven Bars
- 1 full set of Uneven Bars into resi pit
- 1 single Bars into foam pit
- In-ground Channel single bar
- Trampoline single bar
- 6 Reflex Balance Beams and 1 low beam
- Resi and foam pits for Beam dismounts
- 50'x50' Floor Exercise
- Tumbling strips into foam and resi pit
- 50' Rod Floor
