Panthers Finish Sixth at ACC Championships

GREENSBORO – The Pitt Gymnastics team (6-17, 0-6 ACC) wrapped up the ACC Championship at First Horizon Coliseum in sixth place, recording a 194.450. The No. 3 seed Clemson Tigers claimed the ACC title for the first time in program history with a 197.100.
Bars
Hallie Copperwheat delivered a 9.850 in the fifth spot to lead Session 1, and Emily Todd notched a 9.775.
Vault
Freshman Layla Bobek earned a 9.775, and Olivia Giunta matched that score for a team best.
Floor
The Panthers enjoyed a solid floor routine, finishing with a 49.050 team score. Hallie Copperwheat, Meika Lee and Makenzie Grant all added 9.825's, and Madi Bell contributed a strong 9.800. Todd wrapped up with a 9.775.
Beam
Layla Bobek led the team on beam with a 9.750.
