• Pitt hosts Florida State at the Petersen Events Center Saturday, Feb. 20. Tipoff is set for 4:00 p.m. on AT&T Sportsnet. The game was added to the schedule Wednesday afternoon following COVID-19 issues in several other ACC programs.
• The Panthers are one win shy of matching their ACC win total from last season. Pitt has not won more than six ACC games since the 2015-16 season.
• The Pitt-Florida State matchup in Pittsburgh was originally scheduled for Jan. 9 and again set for Feb. 6 before COVID-19 protocols forced postponements.
• The Panthers have won the past four meetings between the two schools at the Petersen Events Center
• Justin Champagnie leads the ACC with 10 double-doubles, including six games with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds. He is tied for fifth in the NCAA in rebounds (11.5 rpg.).
• Justin Champagnie, Xavier Johnson and Au'Diese Toney combine to average 47.1 points, 20.8 rebounds and 9.8 assists per game. The trio has registered 39 double-figure scoring games, including 13 games with 20 or more points scored, and 12 double-doubles.
• Au'Diese Toney is averaging a career-best 14.4 points and 5.9 rebounds per game. He ranks 12th in the ACC in scoring, 11th in offensive rebounds (2.31 orpg.) and fourth in free throw attempts (87).

• The Panthers have allowed opponents to shoot 50.3 percent from the field, including 40.4 percent from three-point range, over the past seven games. Pitt allowed opponents to shoot 39.1 percent from the field and just 26.2 percent from three-point range over its first 10 games.

• Justin Champagnie is one of three major conference players (along with Derek Culver, West Virginia and Kofi Cockburn, Illinois) averaging a double-double for the season. He is one of six players in the NCAA averaging better than 18 points and 10 rebounds per game.
• Xavier Johnson is averaging 14.3 points per game, while going 21-of-26 (.808) from the foul line in three contests against the Seminoles.
• Au'Diese Toney has scored in double figures 12 times with nine games with 15 or more points scored. The Panthers are 22-13 over the past three seasons, including an 8-4 mark in 2020-21, when Toney scores 10 or more points in a game.
• Justin Champagnie has recorded a double-double in seven of the past nine games. He is averaging 19.2 points, 10.9 rebounds, 1.3 blocks and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 53.0 percent (62-of-117) from the field in that span.
• Terrell Brown averaged 12.0 points per game, while going 9-of-11 (.818) from the field and 6-of-8 (.750) from the foul line in a pair of games against Florida State last season.
• Xavier Johnson is six points shy of moving into the top 30 on the all-time scoring list at Pitt. He has scored 1,137 points in 83 career games (13.7 ppg.) as a Panther.
• Justin Champagnie is attempting to become the first Panther to average a double-double for the season since DeJuan Blair (2008-09). Pitt has not had a player average better than 18 points and 10 rebounds per game since Billy Knight (1973-74).
• Xavier Johnson has recorded seven or more assists in seven of the past 10 games and 10 times overall. He ranks second in the ACC and 17th nationally in assists (5.9 apg.). Johnson is looking to join Brandin Kinight (2000-02) as the only Pitt players to lead the team in assists in each of their first three seasons.

• Pitt is 1-1 on the season against ranked opponents with an 83-72 home win against No. 16 Virginia Tech Feb. 3. Saturday's contest with be the Panthers' third contest against a ranked opponent in the past five games.
• Xavier Johnson is averaging 21.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7.0 assists per game against ranked opponents this season, while Ithiel Horton is averaging 15.0 points per game on 7-of-17 (.412) from three-point range.
