Amanda West Named to All-Region Third-Team

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Pitt women's soccer junior Amanda West was named to the United Soccer Coaches' All-Atlantic Region Third-Team, the organization announced Monday. Already the only Panther to be named to multiple all-region teams, West garnered a selection for the third-straight year (first-team last year and third-team in 2019).
Picked to the All-ACC Third-Team, West also earned All-ACC honors for the third time in her career despite missing seven games this fall. West ranked in the ACC second in game-winning goals (five), tied for fifth in goals (10) and tied for sixth in points (23). West scored in nine of 11 games played with four 3+ point games. She opened the season with a five-game scoring streak, the second-longest in program history.
Currently in her first Canadian National Team experience at any level, West wraps up a training camp with the senior national squad held in Mexico City Wednesday at the end of the November FIFA Window. Canada and Mexico square off Tuesday night for the second of two friendlies.
