
Graham, Addison Named Pitt Student-Athletes of the Week

PITTSBURGH – Kayla Graham of women's swimming and Jordan Addison of football were named the Pitt Student-Athletes of the Week following impressive performances in their respective sports.
Graham, a junior, had a standout performance during the three-day Ohio State Invitational – one of the most prestigious and competitive mid-season meets in college swimming. Graham swam the fastest 50 Backstroke in program history with a 25.19 split in the 200 Medley Relay. Her time led to another record in the Pitt history books as the 200 Medley Relay A (Graham, Tatum Detwiler, Sophie Yendell, Kate Fuhrmann) broke the 2018 record with a time of 1:39.13. Graham also PRed in two other individual events, the 50 Free (24.35) and 100 Back (54.77) throughout the weekend.
Addison had a heroic—and historic—game against Virginia, lifting the Panthers to a 48-38 win, the Coastal Division title and berth in the ACC Football Championship Game. He hauled in four touchdown catches, including a victory-clinching 62-yard score with 2:10 left. Overall, he totaled 202 receiving yards on 14 catches. Addison became the first Pitt player to reach 200 receiving yards since Larry Fitzgerald in 2003. His four TD catches tied the Pitt single-game record set by Julius Dawkins in 1981 and tied by Billy Davis in 1994. Addison leads the nation with 15 touchdown receptions. He is fourth nationally with an ACC-high 1,272 receiving yards. Per Pro Football Focus, Addison leads the country with 18 catches of 20-plus yards.
