2021 HONORS & AWARDS:
Achieved one of the most decorated sophomore seasons in Pitt football history…winner of the prestigious Biletnikoff Award as college football’s outstanding receiver…is Pitt’s third winner of the Biletnikoff, joining Antonio Bryant (2000) and Larry Fitzgerald (2003)…Addison earned consensus All-America status, the first sophomore to achieve that stature since Fitzgerald (2003)…named a first team All-American by four of the NCAA-recognized five selectors: Associated Press, Football Writers Association of America (FWAA), Sporting News and Walter Camp…a second-team selection by the American Football Coaches Association (AFCA)…first team All-ACC as a receiver and third team All-ACC in the all-purpose category.
2021 STATISTICS:
Addison compiled 1,593 receiving yards and 17 touchdowns on a Pitt-record 100 receptions (15.9 avg.) in 14 contests…scored 18 total TDs (one by rush)…his receiving yardage and touchdown catches rank second in Pitt season annals, trailing only Larry Fitzgerald (1,672 yards and 22 TDs in 2003)…led the nation in touchdown catches (tied with Western Kentucky’s Jerreth Sterns)…ranked fourth nationally in total receiving yards…totaled eight 100-yard receiving games on the season, second at Pitt only to Fitzgerald’s 10 in 2003…Addison led the Panthers with 1,834 all-purpose yards…netted 56 yards and a touchdown on seven rushes (8.0 avg.) on the year…began returning punts in the latter portion of the season and averaged an impressive 15.4 yards on 12 returns (185 total yards).
2021 HIGHLIGHTS:
With an ACC Coastal Division title on the line, Addison scorched Virginia for 202 receiving yards and four touchdowns on 14 catches (14.4 avg.) in a 48-38 win…his final TD was a 62-yard catch-and-run with 2:10 left that clinched the victory…his four touchdown catches tied the Pitt single-game record set by Julius Dawkins in 1981 (against Cincinnati and Army) and tied by Billy Davis in 1994 (Rutgers)...Addison became just the fourth Pitt player to reach 200 receiving yards in a game and the first since Larry Fitzgerald in 2003…had six catches for 179 yards (29.8 avg.) and three touchdowns against New Hampshire…had six receptions for 124 yards (20.7 avg.) and three TDs against Western Michigan…compiled 171 yards on seven catches (24.4 avg.) at Duke, scoring two TDs (one receiving and one rushing)…had eight receptions for 145 yards (18.1 avg.) against Miami…caught six passes for 117 yards (19.5 avg.) and a score at Georgia Tech…had 126 yards on eight catches (15.8 avg.) in the Panthers’ ACC Championship victory over Wake Forest…concluded the season with seven receptions for 114 yards (16.3 avg.) against Michigan State in the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl.
2020 SEASON:
One of college football’s most impactful newcomers…named a Freshman All-American by The Athletic, Rivals and 247Sports…Honorable Mention All-ACC…ACC Rookie of the Year runner-up (behind Notre Dame running back Kyren Williams)…played in 10 games, starting eight…lone missed contest was Virginia Tech (Nov. 21) for health reasons…led Pitt in receptions (60), receiving yards (666) and receiving touchdowns (four)…became the first freshman to lead the Panthers in receiving since Tyler Boyd (2013)…paced the nation’s freshmen in catches per game (6.0) and total catches…posted a season-high 147 receiving yards on eight catches (18.4 avg.) at Miami…had a season-high 11 catches for 127 yards (11.5 avg.) in Pitt’s 41-17 win at Florida State…became the first Pitt freshman to achieve multiple 100-yard receiving games since Boyd…had a 75-yard catch for a touchdown against NC State, the longest reception by a Pitt player of the season…hauled in an acrobatic 18-yard touchdown grab at Clemson…enrolled at the University of Pittsburgh in January 2020 following his early graduation from Tuscarora and participated in the Panthers’ abbreviated spring drills.

Played wide receiver, quarterback and defensive back during a standout career at Tuscarora…a four-year varsity starter…as a senior receiver, averaged an impressive 21.8 yards per reception, compiling 25 catches for 544 yards and eight touchdowns...Baltimore Touchdown Club “Super 22”…all-area…rated the nation’s No. 21 wide receiver by 247Sports…rated the No. 6 overall prospect in Maryland by 247Sports, No. 12 by ESPN and No. 21 by Rivals…played under Coach Vince Ahearn.
