
Pitt Swimming and Diving Welcomes 2022 Recruiting Class

PITTSBURGH— The University of Pittsburgh swimming & diving program welcomed 14 roster additions for the 2022-23 season during the early signing period, head coach John Hargis announced.
"I am excited to welcome all of our new Panthers," Hargis said. "We feel as though we hit a lot of needs that we were trying to find and on the women's side, it's the best class we've signed since I have been here. On the men's side, it's a great class that fills a lot of depth that's going to help us advance in the ACC."
The 2022 recruiting class includes swimmers Kate Bailey, Emily Bucaro, Maya Gendzel, Drew Jalbert, Angelina Messina, Yasmine Safargar, Nick Short, Rachel Soubier, Ece Tanriverdi, Olivia Yoo, and Derek Zhang, along with divers Rachel Dickerson, Daley Fraser, and Megan Iannon.
