PITTSBURGH—The University of Pittsburgh swimming & diving teams will travel to South Bend, Ind. for a two-day tri-meet with the Fighting Irish and Cleveland State. The meet will kick off Friday, Oct. 15 at 4 p.m. and continue Saturday, Oct. 16 at 11 a.m. at the Rolfs Aquatic Center. Live results can be found with the provided link and the MeetMobile app.
"I'm excited to head to South Bend," head coach John Hargis said. "We race Notre Dame every year so this is a tradition for both teams and it's always a very good meet. We typically compete well with them and it's a true preparation and identifier of where we are in the fall. Cleveland State joins us this year and they've always got some good swimmers as well, so there will be some good racing opportunities and give us a good sense of where we are."
Friday's events will include the 200 Freestyle Relay, 500 Free, 100 Butterfly, 200 Backstroke, 100 Breaststroke, 100 Free, 400 IM, Women's 3M Diving, Men's 1M Diving, and the 400 Medley Relay.
