• Justin Champagnie has posted five games with 20+ points and 10+ rebounds, including a 31-point, 14-rebound effort in Tuesday's win over Duke. He ranks second in the NCAA in rebounds (13.0 rpg.), 18th in double-doubles (5) and 31st in scoring (20.3 ppg.).
• Xavier Johnson is one of two players in the ACC averaging at least 14.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 4.0 assists per game. He leads the ACC in assists (6.3 apg.) and has recorded seven or more assists in each of the past four games.
• Au'Diese Toney has raised his scoring average by 6.5 points per game from a year ago. He has scored in double figures nine times with seven games with 15 or more points scored.

• Tuesday's matchup features two of the top 10 rebounding teams in the country. North Carolina leads the NCAA at 43.5 rpg., while Pitt is seventh in rebounds per game (42.3 rpg.). The Panthers have outrebounded eight of its first 11 opponents.

• Justin Champagnie earned ACC Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week and for the third time this season after averaging 24.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 3.5 steals per game, while going 19-of-27 (.704) from the field, including 6-of-10 (.600) from three-point range, in games against Duke and Wake Forest.
• Justin Champagnie is the eighth player in program history to earn three conference player of the week honors. He joins Lamar Patterson (2013-14) as the only Panthers to earn three conference player of the week accolades in a season.
• Abdoul Karim Coulibaly is averaging 10.5 points and 5.5 rebounds per game, while going 6-of-10 from the field and 8-of-10 from the foul line over the past two games. He had a career-best 15 points in Pitt's last outing.
• Xavier Johnson is 27-of-31 (.871) from the foul line in conference play. He ranks fifth in the ACC in free throw percentage (.794 - 50-of-63) for the season.
• Au'Diese Toney is averaging a career-best 16.0 points and 6.7 rebounds per game. He ranks fifth in the ACC in offensive rebounds (2.8 orpg.) and has shot a team-high 68 free throws. Toney did not attempt a free throw in Pitt's loss to Wake Forest after shooting a career-high 17 free throws in the Panthers' win over Duke.
• Justin Champagnie has recorded five double-doubles and is one of three players (along with Derek Culver, West Virginia and Kofi Cockburn, Illinois) from a power five school averaging a double-double for the season.
• Au'Diese Toney has scored in double figures nine times this season and 32 times in his career. The Panthers are 21-11 over the past three seasons when Toney scores 10 or more points.
• Xavier Johnson has registered 33 assists with 11 turnovers for a 3.0:1 assist-to-turnover ratio over the past four games. He leads the ACC in assists (6.3 apg.) and is ninth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.86:1).
• Femi Odukale is averaging 8.0 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in just under 22 minutes per game over the past five contests. He has scored in double figures twice and has a 2.0:1 assist-to-turnover ratio in that stretch.
• Justin Champagnie has posted at least 20 points and 10 rebounds in five of his past seven games. He is averaging 21.1 points and 14.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 55.7 percent (59-of-106) from the field during that stretch.
• Xavier Johnson is one of seven players in the NCAA and is the only player in a power five conference averaging better than 14.0 points, 4.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists per game. Brandin Knight was the last Panther to reach those averages during the 2001-02 season.
