PITTSBURGH – The University of Pittsburgh women's basketball game against Boston College has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 16 at 6:00 pm. The game against the Eagles was originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 31 before being postponed due to Atlantic Coast Conference COVID-19 protocols.
The Panthers are 3-3 overall and 1-2 in the ACC but haven't played a game since Dec. 20 at Florida State as they were downed 67-53. So far this season, the Panthers are led offensively by junior Jayla Everett who ranks third in the ACC in scoring (17.7 ppg) while also connecting on 23 triples, a Pitt program record for three-pointers made through six games. Dayshanette Harris is also enjoying a strong start to the season as she is averaging 16.0 points, 5.8 rebounds and 5.3 assists while scoring in double figures in all six games this season.
Pitt returns to action Thursday, Jan. 21 as they welcome the Miami Hurricanes to the Petersen Events Center for a 6:00 pm tip on the ACC Network. The Panthers will be looking to notch their second ACC win of the season while also improving to 4-1 at home.
