Q&A
What about Pitt made you want to spend your career as a Panther?
The incredible coaching staff we have, to be able to compete in the best women's soccer conference in the country and experience a whole different part of the country.
What makes soccer special to you?
Soccer is something that drives me in life to be strong and courageous. Whether that's in school, on the field, or just every day, it has made me the person who I am today. I've learned so many life lessons that I will take with me even after I step away from the game. It truly was my first love and it pushes me to bring out the best parts of myself.
How would you describe yourself as a player?
I am a very competitive and fast paced player. I love playing on the wing and going up and down the field to make crosses and contribute not only to the attack, but the defensive side.
What are some goals you have for your Panther career?
A few goals I have as a Panther is to play for championships and leave the program a better place than when I found it. I want to have a lasting impact on my teammates and coaches, along with being able to win in the meantime.
What are your biggest strengths as a player?
My pace and competitiveness.
What is your (intended) major?
Health Services.
What are three words that describe you?
Outgoing, passionate and ambitious.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of soccer?
Hanging out with my teammates and exploring Pittsburgh and other parts of the state.
What was the last TV show you binge watched?
All American.
What are some of the difference between your hometown and Pittsburgh?
Living so far from home definitely points out a few differences. Pittsburgh obviously has completely different weather with the snow and cooler air, I am living in a city versus a small town in Texas, the culture is different, and there's so many pizza shops!!
If you could bring one thing from your hometown to Pittsburgh, what would it be?
Good Mexican food.
If you could meet three people (past or present) who would you want to meet? Why?
My grandmother because I never knew her, Mia Hamm to learn from her and Kobe Bryant.
If you could pick any superpower what would it be?
Reading minds.
Which app do you use the most on your phone?
Instagram.
Who introduced you to the sport of soccer?
My parents.
If you were an animal what would you be?
Dog.
What is one word your teammates would use to describe you?
Outgoing.
What is your dream job?
Professional soccer player.
