Hermanek Adds Sanchez to 2020 Roster

Transfer from Mercer to Join Panthers
PITTSBURGH – University of Pittsburgh softball head coach Jodi Hermanek announced Monday the addition of LoLo Sanchez to the Panthers' 2020 roster.
A junior from Mercer University of the Southern Conference (SoCon), Sanchez will be immediately eligible to play during the 2020 season after spending two seasons with the Bears.
"We are very excited to add LoLo to our roster," said Hermanek. "She joins us as a high performer from her previous university, both athletically and academically."

AT MERCER (2019)
Appeared in 27 games while making 15 starts … Finished the year with a .365 on-base mark, registering 13 hits, 11 runs and eight RBI … Recorded a career-high three RBI on two hits against UNC Greensboro … Went 3-for-3 with two RBI and two doubles against Akron … Registered two RBI in three at-bats in a win over Akron … Finished the year with 13 putouts and 17 assists.
AT MERCER (2018)
Started all 52 games for Mercer … Named to the SoCon All-Freshman Team … Finished second on the team in doubles with 10 and runs with 36 while also ranking third with 47 hits … Finished the year with a .368 on-base mark, 14 RBI, 12 stolen bases and 14 multi-hit games … Went 3-for-4 with an RBI against Western Carolina … Had another three-hit performance against Florida A&M … Recorded two RBI against Fort Wayne … Ended the season with 105 putouts and 47 assists.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Stockton Early College Academy … Named team's MVP in 2014 and earned San Joaquin County Athletic Association (SJAA) All-League honors … Also competed in lacrosse, setting numerous program and division records in goals and assists.
CLUB
Played for the NorCal Firecrackers-Miller … Team placed seventh in the 2014 PGF Tournament.
PERSONAL
Daughter of Benjamin and Gee-Anne Sanchez … Has two siblings, Benjamin and Aleczander.
