• Pitt (13-18, 3-15) enters the postseason at the 2019 New York Life ACC Tournament against Boston College (14-16, 5-13) Tuesday, March 12. The 14th-seed Panthers will face the 11th-seed Eagles in the first round of the ACC Tournament at 7 p.m. on ESPNU and Raycom.
• The winner of the Pitt-Boston College matchup will face 6th-seed Syracuse in Wednesday's late game at the ACC Tournament, with tipoff for that second round contest scheduled for after 9 p.m.
• Boston College beat Pitt, 66-57, in the Feb. 12 regular season meeting between the teams in Chestnut Hill.

• Terrell Brown is five blocked shots shy of moving into the top 10 in Pitt career blocks chart. He has 103 blocks in 62 career games.
• Kene Chukwuka was named to the 2019 All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the league office Friday, March 8. He is the 19th Pitt player selected to the team over the past six seasons.
• Trey McGowens ranks sixth on the Pitt freshman scoring list with 355 points. Sam Clancy sits one spot ahead of McGowens with 378 points scored during the 1977-78 season.
