• Pitt (13-18, 3-15) enters the postseason at the 2019 New York Life ACC Tournament against Boston College (14-16, 5-13) Tuesday, March 12. The 14th-seed Panthers will face the 11th-seed Eagles in the first round of the ACC Tournament at 7 p.m. on ESPNU and Raycom.
• The winner of the Pitt-Boston College matchup will face 6th-seed Syracuse in Wednesday's late game at the ACC Tournament, with tipoff for that second round contest scheduled for after 9 p.m.
• Boston College beat Pitt, 66-57, in the Feb. 12 regular season meeting between the teams in Chestnut Hill.
• Five of Pitt's top six scorers are newcomers. First-year active Panthers account for 64.7 percent (1402-of-2167) of the team's scoring. Freshmen Xavier Johnson, Trey McGowens and Au'Diese Toney account for 49.6 percent (1074-of-2167) of Pitt's scoring.
• Jared Wilson-Frame is averaging 13.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game, while going 52-of-127 (.409) from three-point range over the past 14 games. He has scored in double figures in 12 of the past 14 games and 19 times on the season.

• The Panthers lead the ACC with 16.4 made free throws per game and have made 20 or more free throws in a game 10 times. Xavier Johnson (4.8) and Trey McGowens (3.7) combine for 8.5 made free throws per game while shooting 75.9 percent (264-of-348) from the charity stripe. The duo has averaged 10.1 made free throws while going 131-of-160 (.819) from the line in Pitt wins.
• Pitt is averaging 79.2 points per game on 46.8 percent (345-of-737) shooting from the field in its 13 wins. In comparison, the Panthers have averaged 63.2 points on 38.2 percent (380-of-994) shooting from the field, including 31.2 percent (122-of-391) from three-point range, in their losses.
• The Panthers have held 10 opponents below 40.0 percent shooting from the field. In its regular season finale, Pitt limited Notre Dame to just 32.7 percent (17-of-52) from the field, which was the Panthers' best defensive performance in ACC play.

• Pitt is tied for third in the ACC in turnovers forced (14.9 topg.). The Panthers have scored 20 or more points off turnovers in 11 games and are averaging 18.0 points off turnovers per game.
• Pitt has drawn 65 offensive fouls, with Xavier Johnson (24) and Trey McGowens (17) combining to draw 41 offensive fouls. The Panthers combined for 57 offensive fouls drawn over the previous three seasons.
• Jared Wilson-Frame is three three-point field goals shy of becoming the third player in program history with 90 or more threes in a seasion. He is tied for third in the Pitt single-season record books with 87 three-point field goals.
• Xavier Johnson is tied for sixth in the ACC with 27 double-figure scoring games, including eight contests with 20 or more points scored. Johnson's 27 double-figure scoring games are are the most all-time by a Pitt freshman.
• Jared Wilson-Frame is second in ACC in three-point field goals per game (2.90) and fifth in three-point percentage (.390). He has made four or more three-point field goals in 10 of the past 14 contests and 13 times overall this season.
• Au'Diese Toney, a 6-6 guard, has grabbed eight or more rebounds in a game 10 times and leads the Panthers in rebounding at 5.8 rpg. He is one of four players 6-6 or under in the ACC to rank in the top 25 in rebounding (T-21st). Toney is on track to become the ninth freshman in program history to lead the team in rebounding.
• Trey McGowens has collected two or more steals in a game 15 times this season and ranks fourth in the ACC with 1.97 steals per game. He also ranks fourth in the Pitt freshman record books with 61 steals.
• Terrell Brown is five blocked shots shy of moving into the top 10 in Pitt career blocks chart. He has 103 blocks in 62 career games.
• Kene Chukwuka was named to the 2019 All-ACC Academic Team as announced by the league office Friday, March 8. He is the 19th Pitt player selected to the team over the past six seasons.
• Trey McGowens ranks sixth on the Pitt freshman scoring list with 355 points. Sam Clancy sits one spot ahead of McGowens with 378 points scored during the 1977-78 season.
• Xavier Johnson is 15 points shy of becoming the 10th Pitt underclassman and first freshman to score 500 or more points in a season. Ashton Gibbs was the last Panther to accomplish that feat with 533 points as a sophomore during the 2009-10 season.
• Pitt shot a just 29.0 percent (20-of-69) from the field in a nine-point loss at Boston College earlier this season.
