• The Panthers will face a ranked opponent for the seventh time in 2018-19. Pitt's lone win against a ranked foe this season came at home against then-No. 11 Florida State (1/14).
• Four of Pitt's top five scorers are newcomers. First-year players are accounting for 59.1 percent (1076-of-1822) of the team's scoring. Freshmen Xavier Johnson, Trey McGowens and Au'Diese Toney account for 50.5 percent (920-of-1822) of Pitt's scoring.
• Xavier Johnson is tied for fifth in the ACC with 22 double-figure scoring games, including eight contests with 20 or more points scored. Johnson's 22 double-figure scoring games are the fourth most all-time by a Pitt freshman.
