• Pitt plays on the road for the second time in four days with a trip to Clemson Tuesday, Jan. 29. Tipoff is set for 9 p.m. with ESPNU broadcasting the contest.
• The Panthers have dropped three consecutive contests and are 2-5 in ACC play. Four of Pitt's five losses in league play have come against ranked opponents.
• Four of Pitt's top five scorers are newcomers with first-year players accounting for 67.3 percent (1001-of-1488) of the team's scoring. Freshmen Xavier Johnson, Trey McGowens and Au'Diese Toney account for 52.7 percent (784-of-1488) of the team's scoring.
• Nine different players have scored in double figures for Pitt this season with freshmen Xavier Johnson and Trey McGowens leading the way with 18 and 13 double-digit scoring efforts.
