Three from Pitt Earn Honor for Fifth Consecutive Year
GREENSBORO, N.C. – The 62nd annual Atlantic Coast Conference Honor Roll was announced Friday, recognizing academic excellence by the league's student-athletes in 2017-18. Among the honorees were 245 student-athletes from the University of Pittsburgh.
The ACC Honor Roll is comprised of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year. The conference recognized a record 4,650 student-athletes.
Pitt had three student-athletes earn ACC Honor Roll status for the fifth time in their careers: Caleb Parry baseball), Ryan Winslow (football) and Nick Zanetta (wrestling). Twenty other Pitt student-athletes were named to the ACC Honor Roll for the fourth time.
