Taylor Traded to E1 Pro Ballers

Taylor will Join Former Teammate Giorgiana Zeremenko
MOBILE, Ala. – Just two days after the inaugural American Softball Association (ASBA) Professional Draft, league officials have announced that former Pitt softball standout McKayla Taylor, who was originally selected by Outkast, has been traded to the E1 Pro Ballers, joining former Panther teammate Giorgiana Zeremenko.
The E1 Pro Ballers selected Zeremenko in the fifth round as the 19th overall pick in the draft, while Taylor was originally selected by Outkast as the 58th overall pick (first on-call round). As an on call selection, Taylor would have been one of five athletes called up if a member of the team is unable to play, but will now be a part of the E1 Pro Ballers active roster.
The 2018 ASBA slate will begin Friday, June 15 with Taylor, Zeremenko and the E1 Pro Ballers taking on Future 1s at 8:15 p.m. EST in their season opener. The E1 Pro Ballers will play 36 games throughout June and July, fighting for a chance to compete in the ASBA Championship, July 27-31. All games will be played in Mobile, Ala.
