Dear Softball

Dear Softball,
I'm not sure where to begin, but if there's one thing I do know, it's that I can't thank you enough. I am forever in your debt.
Thank you for teaching me how to believe in myself when no one else did.
Thank you for teaching me discipline and that the good things in life don't always come easy.
Thank you for teaching me humility and giving me the drive to be the best person I can be.
Thank you for making me physically and mentally tough.
Thank you for letting me give hope to the all of the little girls out there aspiring to be just like me and showing them that dreams can come true.
I am so thankful and blessed for the people you have brought into my life, whether it was a teammate, a coach or an umpire that remembers me from travel ball. You have given me so many friends that I now call my sisters. The memories I made, and will continue to make with them, will always put a smile on my face and I will cherish them forever.
You have helped me through the low times in my life and have given me some of my highest of highs. You gave me the opportunity to represent my city and the best University in the country. You have given me the opportunity to glorify God with the gifts He has given me and honor my loved ones that are watching from up above.
I know our journey together isn't quite over yet, but a thank you is necessary.
See ya soon,
G Baby
