WHEN TO WATCH
- Phillips is set to compete in the 400m hurdles first round at 5:20 p.m. ET Friday. The top two finishers from each of the three heats, as well as the next two fastest times, will advance to Saturday's final at 6 p.m. ET.
A CLOSER LOOK
- A Fort Wayne, Ind., native, Phillips ended her NCAA rookie outdoor season competing with the Panthers' women's 4x400m relay team at the NCAA East Preliminary Round in Tampa, Fla. (May 26).
- Phillips competed in three events at the ACC Outdoor Championships in May, including the high jump, 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay.
- She set a personal best time of 1:00.96 in the 400m hurdles at the conference meet.
